Bruxism guard
The most common name. Protects teeth from wear caused by nightly clenching or grinding.
Night guard
Called this because it's worn during sleep, when bruxism happens without us noticing.
Relaxation splint
A name that emphasizes the myorelaxant effect: reduces tension in the chewing muscles.
Occlusal splint
Clinical term. Redistributes bite forces to protect the joint and enamel.
Myorelaxant splint
Specific for relaxing the chewing muscles. Ideal when there are contractures or pain.
Michigan splint
A clinical variant with a specific design. The most widely used model for its proven effectiveness.
How it works

Impression
